Srividya Kannan Ramachandran – Manager Data Science at Facebook

While working as a Manager Data Science at Facebook, Srividya began to think about starting her own business as a student. She had studied mathematics at Columbia University and had been an instructor for nine years at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has authored two books on telecom policy and is a Reiki level III master. In addition to being a passionate yoga enthusiast, Srividya also has a love for art. She has lived in fourteen different cities and is an avid reader.

Avaali’s Newest Addition

Avaali’s newest addition is a vendor portal, which will reduce the cycle time of supplier engagements. In addition to the vendor portal, Avaali is also developing solutions based on RPA (Robotic Process Automation). Intelligent software bots will automate tasks that require human strengths. For example, Vendors can use Velocious to automate payments and shipment tracking.

Robotic Process Automation

Avaali has grown to 85 members, and is continuing to scale its operations. Among the technologies Avaali is focusing on is Robotic Process Automation, which enables an intelligent digital workforce. Essentially, these technologies are software bots that will perform tasks that require human strengths. Ultimately, the aim of Avaali is to make data accessible to every business, regardless of industry or size.

In addition to her role as Marketing Science Director at Facebook, Srividya also serves as an Associate Research Scientist for the company. She previously led the data science practice at Digitas and Level 3 Communications. Known as a synthetic artist, she has been exhibiting her works at two art galleries in New York’s Chelsea district. She has also published a book on telecom policy.

The design process for her website is quite different from that of other entrepreneurs. Tooley Parker uses threads and actual stitching to link unique elements. Meanwhile, Diamond, Takamori, and Moore use more traditional approaches to create a unique identity. Finally, Gerard and Moore incorporate layers of processing to create a unique style that captures her essence. These techniques are quite different from the more traditional ones, but they all have a similar approach.

Tooley Parker and Burnett

Tooley Parker and Burnett use actual threads as an element of their designs, while Takamori and Gerard use traditional approaches to create unique images. Among these designers, Takamori has chosen the most traditional approach. Both these artists use layers of processing to create their unique identity.

Srividya Kannan Ramachandran – Viridian Artists

As a recent graduate of Art Institute of Chicago, Ramachandran will have a solo exhibition at Viridian Artists in San Francisco, California. The artist has previously worked with the gallery as an Affiliate. This is her first solo exhibit. In addition, she was one of 30 artists selected for the prestigious “Director’s Choice” exhibit.

As a data scientist, Srividya focuses on strategic and capital investments. She studied mathematics at the University of Colorado and is a level III Reiki master. She also practices yoga and is a certified personal trainer.  Her work is both personal and professional.In addition to her work as a data scientist, Srividya is also a practicing yoga instructor and a Reiki master. The work she creates is based on her experiences as an artist.

Srividya Kannan Ramachandran – MLconf

The MLconf conference will be held in San Francisco on November 14th. It is co-sponsored by IBM’s AI Foundations Department and Facebook’s Marketing Science team. This is Srividya’s first MLconf, and she’s excited to share her insights and experience with the conference attendees. Irina Rish is an AI Foundations Manager who will be speaking at the conference.
