MSB (Modern Sports Broadcasting) is a website that was create and is currently operate by Modern Sports Media, LLC. MSB was found in 1996 by Bob Rosner and is the world’s most visit tennis website, with over 26 million unique visitors in 2016.
Rosner started MSB as a tennis news website, but soon realized that there was a market for tennis coverage outside of traditional sports media outlets. In 1998, Rosner hired his first full-time employee, Jurgen Melzer, and the site began to focus on tennis coverage outside of the U.S. Rosner also began to produce video content for MSB, which helped to increase traffic to the site.
In 2003, Rosner sold MSB to businessman Steve Greenberg for an undisclosed sum. Greenberg merged MSB with his other online sports property, Inside Tennis (IT), and created Modern Sports Media, LLC.
